Ambition of the LCL Carrier Partner Awards

The LCL Carrier Partner Awards honour the telecom partners shaping the future of our connectivity ecosystem. We recognise those who stand out through innovation, excellence, and leadership. This annual tradition highlights outstanding achievements across three key categories, reflecting our partners’ dedication to advancing the telecom industry and delivering better outcomes for customers.

A new way forward

In 2026, the LCL Carrier Partner Awards introduce a refreshed selection process.
Rather than a public nomination phase, a jury will lead the full evaluation.
For each category, they will identify three standout companies distinguished by their performance, innovation and contribution to the carrier ecosystem.

Nominees announcement & voting

Between 11 February and 11 March 2026, our partners and wider community were invited to vote for the organisations they believed had excelled in each category.

Awards ceremony

The LCL Carrier Partner Awards 2026 will be presented during the LCL Carrier Partner Event on 7 May 2026, where we will proudly reveal the winners.

A new highlight: the live audience award

For the first time, a new award will be decided entirely by the audience in the room.
Only those attending can cast a vote, live, on the spot.
A unique moment that makes your presence more meaningful than ever.

Be part of an evening that celebrates innovation, achievement and the power of collaboration across our carrier ecosystem.

Award categories

The Innovation Award

This award recognises the organisation that has introduced the most innovative solutions or services within the telecom ecosystem.

With rapid developments in technology, innovation plays a crucial role in shaping the future of telecom. As the Internet of Things (IoT) continues to expand, the growing volume of data will place increasing demands on cloud capacity and processing power. Many IoT applications will require data to be processed locally, and the rise of AI-driven solutions and edge computing will accelerate this shift.

Organisations that lead the way in developing and deploying cutting-edge innovations are helping define the next chapter of the telecom industry.

IT Transformation & Cloud Award

This award recognises the organisation that leads the way in IT transformation and cloud adoption.

In today’s rapidly evolving landscape, flexibility is essential. Organisations are moving at speed towards new architectures and software-defined, programmable infrastructures. Adapting to these changes is critical to remain competitive.
For many, embracing cloud-native technologies is no longer optional — it is a necessary step to help customers benefit from faster deployment, improved performance and future-proof digital environments.

Carriers that successfully drive this transformation not only strengthen their own capabilities but also empower their customers to thrive in a dynamic and demanding market.

The Sustainability Award

This award honours the organisation that has made the most significant contribution to sustainability over the past year.

Today, more than ever, governments, businesses and individuals are focused on reducing their environmental footprint and improving their Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance. This shift creates a strong business incentive to advance sustainable practices.

The data center industry is uniquely positioned to drive meaningful change, reduce environmental impact and address the challenges of climate change. Joint partnerships and collaborative efforts are essential, especially as the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) requirements approach.
