What does a full sailing experience during the regatta include?

A full sailing experience during the regatta includes a day aboard a sailing yacht, guided by an experienced skipper. You’ll start with a morning initiation into sailing at sea, learning race strategies and taking part in hands-on sailing activities. In the afternoon, you’ll compete in an exciting regatta race. This unique combination of learning and competition makes for a thrilling and comprehensive sailing experience.

What exactly is a regatta?

A regatta is a sailing race where different boats compete against each other on a predetermined course. It combines sport, teamwork, and strategy. However, the main goal is to have fun and enjoy the experience on the water, rather than focusing solely on winning. It’s about embracing the spirit of adventure, camaraderie, and the thrill of sailing.

Do I need any sailing experience?

No prior sailing experience is required. We provide experienced skippers who will guide you and teach you everything you need to know to have a great time on the water. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned sailor, you'll enjoy the day to the fullest.

What safety measures are in place during the event?

Safety is our top priority. We provide experienced skippers, safety gear such as life jackets, and first aid equipment on board. Additionally, we conduct a thorough safety briefing before heading out to sea. You will also receive a sailing guide in advance of the event to help you prepare and understand the basic rules and safety protocols.

What does the day’s programme look like for sponsors?

Here’s the detailed programme for sponsors:

  • 09:00 - 09:30: Arrival and Reception
  • 09:30 - 12:00: Briefing and Sailing Initiation at Sea
  • 12:00 - 13:30: Lunch
  • 13:30 - 13:45: Regatta Briefing
  • 13:45 - 18:00: Regatta
  • 18:00 - 19:00: Reception
  • 19:00 - 21:00: BBQ
This schedule provides a perfect balance between networking, learning, and competitive sailing, ensuring a rewarding day for all participants.

What does an E-bike experience include?

Besides the regatta, we also offer an e-bike experience, which involves a day of exploring the Belgian coast, cycling through beautiful landscapes, with engaging activities along the way. For example, last year we organised a healthy workshop, and the year before, we visited a brewery. Each year offers a unique and enriching experience to complement the scenic ride, making it both active and enjoyable.

When does the Early Bird price end?

The Early Bird price ends on 15 November. Don't miss out—sign up before the deadline to take advantage of the discounted rate! After this date, the full price will apply.

Can I make changes to my subscription later?

Yes, once you’ve registered, you can still add additional people to your booking. However, please note that this only applies to the extra activities. The boat packages you selected at the time of booking will remain unchanged.

What are the next steps?

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email. In January 2025, you will receive the invoice, along with all necessary information to brand your boat, manage your crew members, and other practical details.
